Rick and Darren’s Swanky wedding
Are you ready for a 1920′s….Safari….Vintage…Earthy…French….Fall…themed wedding???? Well, then you are really “In for it”! In celebration of the Roaring 20′s, I thought it would be great fun to use some catch phrases from that era to describe this “Swanky” wedding!
Rick and Darren were the “Bees Knees”! Most would think their ideas and tastes were a little “Off the Wall”, but not me! I welcomed every quirky email I got from them…embraced them all.
The Ceremony took place in at Lion Rock Farm, a heavenly farm…seriously…heavenly…you’ll see why! Very intimate and sweet.
But, the reception…was the “Cat’s Pajamas”, under a tent in the courtyard of The Ragamont House Bed and Breakfast…which is where some of the inspiration came from.
Since I can not come up with the words to describe this fabulous affair..I will just let the pictures speak for themselves. Look closely for all the details…1920′s band that sings in French and other languages of love, a forest of lights, safari animal place cards and coordinating menus(Adrienne from Admire always brings it!), vintage and I mean OLD silver, etc etc I won’t give it all away…….
This is only a sampling of their wedding…there will be a TON more pics on my website coming soon……

Inside The Ragamont…..
The happy couple all “Dolled Up”…..
Rick and Darren’s “Dogs”…hehe
The Tented Reception…..Isn’t it just so “Copacetic”?
The Band Carte Blanche Vintage in their “Glad Rags”!
I found a great little jade elephant bell for the “spiffy” couple…..
The traditional French wedding cake…Croquembouche…
Rick and Darren…I “Carry a Torch” for you!
Well, this has been so much fun for me to share such a detailed wedding that I am very proud of. I am also very thankful to Erica of Ambiance Luxe Wedding Designs for introducing me to Rick and Darren! Every vendor that was involved with this wedding worked so hard to make everything perfect…there are so many to thank…so THANK YOU to everyone below…it has truly been a honor….

Brad and Brian at Saltwater Farm Vineyard
Brad and Brian wanted to blend the feel of New England, the venue and their love of travel. Earthy, Natural Elements such as Driftwood, moss rocks, river stones, reindeer and spanish moss, scabiosa pods, sea sponges, and manzanita branches were used to keep the feeling very crunchy New England, masculine and to coordinate with the Saltwater feeling. We brought in orange orchids for a pop of color against the browns and greens of the locale and decor.
The designs are kept simple and artistic so that the room would look intriguing and give you the feeling that you’re outdoors, where nature is not so balanced. The cocktail hour couches and hand made driftwood table made and rented by Ryan Designs, really is the cherry on top and brings it all together!
Lester from My Name Is Photo did a great job capturing special moments of Brad and Brian! I love the way this wedding came together and I hope you do too!
(I took some photos, they are not as great as Lester’s but wanted to show some detail. My photos will be marked)
Enjoy!

Wedding getting National Exposure!
Andrew and Jeremy’s wedding was FABULOUS! They collected tons…and when I say tons, I mean TONS….of vintage flea market specials that I had to make sense of. Every table a different theme and better from the last.
Their wedding was so Fabulous, in fact, after being featured in the 2010 Winter Issue of MARTHA STEWART WEDDING Magazine, it is now being featured on websites all over the country!!!!
Cake and Pictures Is a great resource for the best photographers in the world. They featured Andrew and Jeremy’s wedding planner and of course, she talked about CFC.

Dan and Giancarlo’s Special Day
This was a very special day for Dan and Giancarlo, you could see it in their families eyes….Love was definitely in the air! I even got a little choked up as their families brought them down the aisle to a very emotional orchestrated Jack’s Love Song. This was the most beautiful song I have ever heard and I couldn’t have imagined them walking to anything else.
Their venue was St. Clements Castle in Portland, CT, which is a very strong vision in the midst of breathtaking gardens every where you look. They wanted their decor to compliment the castle, to be more of an accent so the castle and all it’s glory was the focal point.
Their style is very clean and masculine with a touch of whimsy! They loved organic elements and let me do my thing.
I received the best compliment from them, I will never forget it. They told me that if they had the talent to design they would have created everything just as it was. They wouldn’t have changed a thing.
I LOVE THAT!
That is the whole reason why I do what I do, so I can take someone’s vision of their most special day and bring it to life for them.
Enough mushiness……have fun looking at Dan and Ginacarlo’s special day! These fantastic photos were taken by Kiva Sutton of Annandale Photography. Once again, he did not disappoint. He even met me there an hour earlier than he needed to be to take time with my creations. He’s the best!
