Dreamy Vineyard Wedding

“Dreamy” is what comes to mind when I look at Julianne…her dress, her hair piece, her bouquet…. Her and Andrew’s wedding was so soft and full of romance…you have to see for yourself….

Bohemian Beach at Owenego

That’s right!!!!…..              ” Bohemian Beach

I knew this was going to be a very unique wedding when Katie and Jason came to me with their ideas…LOTS of ideas!  I was able to narrow them all done to create their summer beach wedding with a twist of their personalities, which is of course, Bohemian.

They wanted COLOR!!! and a way to incorporate fun, unique, accents of the shoreline, since there wedding was at the Cottage-Chic,  Owenego Beach Club in Branford.

I want to talk about the details…therefore, let’s talk about what  “Bohemian” means….

‘unconventional’, ‘non-traditional’,  ‘creative’, ‘extremely wide range in taste of music, art, etc’, ‘the love of mixing different textiles together just for fun’

Beach-y accents were: Pieces of Coral, Sea glass colored “message in a bottle” bottles, Air Plants (which look like it should be part of an underwater reef), Jute toppers (which gave you the illusion of sand)

Bohemian accents were: Metal Cut-out vessels and candle holders…of course we sprayed them all using earthy tones, Metal cut-out lanterns, vintage turquoise patterned ribbon, Earthy Colored Mercury Glass, Tissue Paper Pomanders, Satin Ribbon, Mosaic Vases…..

The tables were very eclectic, the flowers were mostly locally grown farm flowers, they got married in front of hanging tissue pomanders blowing in the wind, the aisle was create with mostly trailing ribbons…again…blowing in the wind, because that day was very windy!!!! It was a perfect day, a prefect setting, the perfect couple!

Take a look for yourself, as Henry from HenryShoots captured the day so beautifully!

This is my favorite picture! I love the look on their faces when the first lay eyes on their ceremony arbor and Tissue Pomanders!henryshoots-0016
